
Immigration and Sponsorship Fee Changes from 8 April 2026
The changes affect a number of key immigration routes including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility and settlement applications, as well as sponsor licence fees. Below is a summary of selected fee changes most relevant to employers and sponsored workers.

Selected Immigration Fee Changes - Effective 8 April 2026
In addition, the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) fee will increase from £16 to £20.
Practical notes for employers
Employers planning to sponsor workers or apply for a new sponsor licence may wish to consider whether applications can be submitted before 8 April 2026, in order to benefit from the current fee levels.
HR teams may also wish to inform sponsored employees who are approaching settlement eligibility that ILR application fees will increase from April 2026.
