Working in such a dynamic and often high-pressure environment has shaped not just my professional skills, but also my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and support them through complex, life-changing transitions.
After spending five years in operations and the field as a narcotics officer, I made a bold decision to shift my career path and explore new opportunities. I found myself drawn to the immigration sector, a space that still required a strong understanding of laws, regulations, and people management. My first role in this industry involved handling Permanent Residency and Citizenship applications, where I had the chance to work with clients from all walks of life — from infants to the elderly, and everyday individuals to high-profile VIPs.
Singapore, being a modern, multicultural and vibrant country, attracts talent and families globally. Many foreigners seek to make this city their home, drawn by the country’s strong infrastructure, healthcare, education, safety, and quality of life. Working in immigration gave me insight into the challenges and aspirations of individuals and families who wish to call Singapore home, and I found great fulfilment in helping them navigate the complexities of the system.
In 2022, I joined K2 to broaden my expertise, particularly in the area of employment and work pass management. Here, I gained hands-on experience submitting applications and liaising with key government agencies such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), and Health Promotion Board (HPB), among others.
With the recent launch of K2 X Border, we present the brand with clarity and consistency. While part of a wider group, K2 X Border has its own distinct voice, identity, and visual system. We bring deep expertise and regional insight to ensure every case is handled with precision, consistency, and care.
